Chorus Information
About our Program
The Kent State University Men's Chorus is the newest addition to the choral music offerings of the
Hugh A. Glauser School of Music. Founded in 2002 by its director, Dr. Ben Ayling, the chorus is open to
both music majors and non-majors alike with a love of singing and a desire to work together to achieve
excellence in choral performance.
The chorus' repertoire includes sacred and secular works from the
Renaissance to the present, with special emphasis on the standards of the male chorus literature.
Since it began, the KSU Men’s Chorus has grown to more than double its size and has toured five times
to dozens of communities around Ohio. The chorus is making its first to tour to New York City during
Spring Break, 2006.
